• Tours: Uluru Sunrise & Kata Tjutu, Valley of the Winds & the Mala walk.
You may also choose to take private tours at your own expense: for example, a helicopter tour over Ayers Rock & the Olga’s!

Suggested Art Materials to Bring
Black & white, thalo & ultramarine blues, ochre, raw & burnt sienna, raw umber, cool & warm yellows – lemon & cad, Indian red, vermillion red, light red, carmine, alizarin crimson, others. Of course bring your own favourite colours as well!
Oil or water based pastels, pencils, charcoal, and inks
Glue, strong heavy-duty paper of your choice for experimental works
Portable easel & stool if required for outside sketching
Artist’s quality stretch canvas with light frame or rolled canvas to stretch at home
Palette knives, brushes
Medium: matt or gloss varnish
Rags and sponges, plastic palettes (plastic plates available from Resort IGA supermarket)
NOTE: If painting in oils, please bring ODOURLESS MEDIUM ONLY due to people’s sensitivity!
Camera (photo printing facilities at Resort)
Available at Resort News Agent shopping centre:
Acrylic paints, sketchpads, bulldog clips, masking tape, blue tack, glue, plastic containers for water, spray bottles, bubble wrap to take canvases home, etc.
PAYMENT
Private $4870 (credit card/paypal, add $122).
• Deposit of $1,550 is required within 7 days of booking (credit card/paypal, add $38).
NOTE: $550 of this deposit is non-refundable or transferable.
• Payment of $1,660 by the 11th February 2011 (credit card/paypal, add $40)
• Balance payment of $1660 by 11th March 2011 (credit card/paypal, add $40)

GETTING THERE
You will need to arrange your own flights, available direct from Sydney to Ayers Rock. A complimentary pick up at Ayers Rock airport takes you to the Resort. Please email the Resort with your flight itinerary for correct pick-up time at groups@voyages.com.au and quote Booking Block Code: 080411EART
IMPORTANT NOTE: Paints can be taken in checked baggage only, not in hand luggage.

Tea, coffee, cakes & pastries are provided for morning and afternoon tea. Sandwiches and buffet lunch are available at the conference centre/studio, included in retreat price. You can also buy food from the Resort IGA supermarket and prepare meals in your apartment.
Daily schedule as follows:
• Breakfast, followed by classroom from 9.30 – 12.30
• Lunch & rest to 2.30
• Sessions with Emma 2.30 – 5.00

Bring clothes suitable for warm-to-hot conditions during day, and cool at night
